Places to visit in Manali cannot be done without mentioning the very famous “Rohtang Pass.” The small town of Manali has been blessed with snow covered peaks, lovely culture some wonderful temples and old monasteries. All these places are visited by the tourists in great numbers but one place that deserves a special mention is the Rohtang Pass. It is located around 51 kms from Manali. It is located on the highway to Leh which is another wonder of nature in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated at the height of 3979 meters it is closed for the visitors in the winter seas that is November to March. It is open for motor vehicles from the month of June to October. However the best season is to visit in May/June to October/ November.
