Panjim has many activities to do and many avenues to explore that the tourist loves to spend their time here. The entire stretch of the main road that leads into the city is on the banks of the River Mandovi. Many casinos are anchored on the river. These casinos are a storehouse of entertainment.

The interiors are well done and the staff is quite courteous. The gaming zone has some of the finest rounds being played. The kid’s zone, the eating arena and the entertainment area are all very good and they make you feel coming back to it. There are many hotels and resorts which have in house casinos among many places to see in Goa, but it is seen that the tourist flock to those casinos that have been anchored on the river.

Another major attraction is the river cruise which is another crowd puller. It is about an hour ride on big boats where they take you along the river with music and dances. A round of cultural dances is also presented to the tourists where they see the Konkani way of movement, and the best part is that the music and dance is so lively that one likes to dance along with them.

The ticket rates are reasonable and the cruise starts in the evening and the last boat is around 8 pm. The tour organizer takes the ship to the meeting point of the Mandovi River and the Arabian Sea, and it is this place where the grand J W Marriot stands and it looks exceptionally majestic on the Beach.
