Places to visit in Goa can
never be done without visiting its capital that is Panjim, or it can
be said the heart of the state. Goa has many spots and places of
interest, and Panjim is one place that has all the elements of Goa,
be it the wonderful beach, or the night clubs, or the casinos, or the
cruise. You want it and you get it in Panjim.
The city of Panjim is about 30 mins
from Vasco International Airport and regular transportation is
available. The city is located on the bank of Mandovi River and
Miramar the very famous beach which is located at the confluence of
Arabian Sea and Mandovi River is a major tourist place.
It’s quite famous for hosting many
cultural events such as International Film Festival, Theatrical
events, movie premieres, and International Art Exhibitions. The
market in Panjim is quite trendy and at the same time it’s quite
close to the Goan culture.
The city has quite a good number of
hotels and resorts, and some of them are quite well known for their
excellent service and grandeur. Some of them such as Grand Hyatt, Taj
Vivanta, Cida de Goa are quite popular and are rated among the five
star properties of Goa.
The Casinos and Cruise of Panjim is
one more attraction which attracts quite a number of tourists to the
city. Cruise is carried on the River Mandovi. These are huge boats
which give an about one hour of river boat ride to the tourists.
The Boats are well decorated and
they take care of entertainment of their guests. Various culture
events and dances are organized on the cruise so that the guests can
know better the culture of Goa.
The cruise rides starts around 5 in
the evening. The last boat leaves at eight and with all the yummy
food and the dances the cruise trip becomes memorable.
