Places to visit in Goa are numerous

entire state of Goa is beautiful and every street and corner of Goa
is worth spending some time and enjoying the blessing of nature. The
state of Goa is located in the Western Ghats and receives heavy
rainfall during the monsoon; hence the presence of waterfalls is but
natural. Goa has many big and small waterfalls; some of them are
perennial while some have water only during monsoons. The water at
the beaches also rises during the monsoon and many beaches are closed
during the monsoons. The life guards have to be extra careful so that
people do not venture out during that time and risk their life. Some

The Vagator Beach located in North Goa is extremely famous. The
famous Sunburn Festival used to be held here, however now it has been
shifted to some other city. The Festival used to take place in the
last week of December and was attended by lakhs of people.
International fame singers, musicians, rock bands used to be there to
entertain the crowd. The Vagator Beach is quite popular with the
tourists of Goa as it is quite different from other beaches. It is
quite a laid back beach with many people coming there especially for
the sunset. The sunset through rocks is breathtaking from Vagator
Beach. A number of food joints can be spotted especially those who
serve Mediterranean. Even Indian restaurants and cafes can also be
spotted. Hill Top is quite a popular hang out for the Indian as well
as foreign tourists.
